LARKANA: One woman fainted due to hot weather and ten youngsters were arrested by police as hundreds of people visited World Cultural Heritage archaeological site of Mohenj-o-Daro during Eidul Azha holidays. Foolproof security arrangements were made and the employees of Mohenjo Daro performed duties to keep visitors away from damaging the ruins, but few youngsters violated the security arrangements hence police arrested them but they were released later. No vendor was allowed inside the ruins and as many as 25 stalls were established of various commodities. Large number of people were seen resting in parks due to hot weather. Separate car parking was also established. Curator Zaheeruddin Shar and others told media that police helped them a lot in saving the cultural sites this time. Visitors Asadullah Jhatyal, Manzoor Mugheri, Mustafa Khuhawar, Muhammad Ibrahim and others said that they enjoyed the tour and were astonished to find that their elders were living a better life than their counterparts around the globe. They urged people to be careful while visiting the ancient site and prevent their kids from damaging it as Mohenjo Daro is a vivid symbol of their past history. People from Sukkur, Hyderabad, Kandhkot, Kashmore, Dadu, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kambar-Shahdadkot and other districts visited this historical site.
