urned the hearing of the Model Town case due to the non-appea
rance of the Pu
njab Police Inspector General (IG) before it.
The ATC took up hearing the Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s (PAT) prosecution on Tuesday. The court was informed that the Punjab IG and other police officers had not appeared in court despite cou
rt orders directing th
eir presence.
The court, while summoning the IG and other police officers, directed them to file surety bonds, adjourning the case until March 11.
